WHO CAN WE
HELP NEXT
Santa’s Elves was started in 2011 in response to the wildfires that devastated parts of Magnolia, Texas. The organization’s founders saw members of their community struggling to recover from the effects of Mother Nature and knew there was an immediate need for assistance. That first year, through the help of our generous sponsors, 16 area families received more than $5,000 a piece to help them rebuild. Since then, Santa’s Elves has donated nearly $1.5 million to people and organizations in Magnolia, Montgomery & Harris Counties.
ALWAYS CHANGING LIVES
About
Santa's Elves
In May 2011, wildfires ravaged Magnolia, Texas. More than one-third of the community sustained damage. Our neighbors and local businesses suffered personally and financially.

From the disaster rose a great need for help, and Santa’s Elves was born. Magnolia residents Kevin Scroggins and Matt Mabry mobilized quickly after the fires, hosting the first Santa’s Elves golf tournament in November of that year. The sole intent was to assist our neighbors whose lives were devastated by the fires. In that first year, 16 local families received more than $5,000 each to help them rebuild.

Kevin and Matt soon realized the need didn’t’ end with the wildfires. Constantly asking “who can we help next?”, their fundraising efforts have continued year after year.

Since its inception, Santa’s Elves has raised more than $1.5 million for those in need.
